JBNSTS Senior Talent Search Test (STST)

Especially relevant to students who passed Class 12 in 2026 and are entering engineering in West Bengal.

• For eligible 2026 HS pass-outs pursuing engineering, medicine, or specified science UG courses in West Bengal.
• Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti is for girls only.
• Application fee listed by JBNSTS: ₹200.
• Scholarship benefits listed: ₹4,000/month plus ₹5,000 annual book grant for the applicable programme duration.

Status: The official 2026 instructions page currently says the application process has not yet started; deadline not announced there.

Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

A national undergraduate scholarship for meritorious students from any stream, including engineering, subject to eligibility.

• Designed for students in the first year of a full-time regular UG degree.
• Official programme information describes support of up to ₹2 lakh over the degree.
• Eligibility includes academic and household-income conditions, plus an aptitude test.

Status: Recent 2026–27 reporting says applications closed on 5 October 2026. Verify any extension only on the official portal.

Foundation for Excellence (FFE)

Need-based support for eligible first-year professional-course students, including B.E./B.Tech.

• For fresh first-year entrants in eligible professional degrees.
• Selection depends on financial criteria and qualifying entrance-rank/course conditions.
• Check whether your entrance rank, institution and family income meet the current rules.

Status: The 2026–27 season information is published; confirm the current application status and JU/rank eligibility before applying.

G.P. Birla Scholarship

For eligible students from West Bengal or Jharkhand entering higher education, including engineering.

• Class 12 marks and family-income limits apply.
• 2026–27 criteria listed 85% in WBCHSE/JAC or 90% in ISC/CBSE, with annual family income up to ₹8 lakh.
• Listed support includes up to ₹60,000 per year and a one-time book grant.

Status: The 2026–27 deadline was listed as 31 July 2026, so treat this cycle as closed unless the foundation announces otherwise.

Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship. Check current fresh-application rules, marks requirements, income ceiling and whether your course/institution is covered.

OASIS Post-Matric Scholarships

For eligible SC, ST and OBC students. Check the post-matric/college-level application and current state rules.

Aikyashree

West Bengal minority-student scholarship portal. Check which post-matric or merit-cum-means scheme is open to a first-year B.Tech applicant.

AICTE Pragati / Saksham / Swanath

Pragati is for eligible girl students; Saksham for eligible students with disabilities; Swanath for specified eligible backgrounds. Check current AICTE/NSP notices, approved-course conditions and fresh-applicant status.

PM-USP Central Sector Scholarship (CSSS)

Potentially relevant to eligible first-year students meeting the Class 12 merit, income and other scheme rules. The NSP page may show renewal windows separately; do not assume a fresh application is open just because renewals are open.
